Darbishire Home Inspection

Darbishire Home Inspection
I did lot of research online and in the local community to find a home inspector with good credentials and experience. Out of all companies, small and large, Barry stood out as an organized, skilled and experienced inspector. And he was exactly that! He arrived well on time, took us through a complete walk-through of the home, identified structural and system defects, gave us many helpful home maintenance tips and even shared some valuable anecdotes from personal experience with us. Barry put us at ease as it is our first time buying a home. The report arrived promptly, and with pictures, with everything that Barry had already thoroughly explained to us before leaving. Darbishire Home Inspection
Barry made the process a very relaxing and exciting experience. He took the time to explain things and teach us everything we should know about our home, and much more. Barry explained to us that his best practice standards are beyond that of a typical home inspector. This was clearly evident as Barry took us through the process, and did not brush over the typical things a home inspector would. If you want someone who will give you his honest opinion (which is what we all need at this stage), and really makes you feel confident and trusting in his judgement, Barry is your guy!

Darbishire Home Inspection
As a first time home buyer I really appreciated that Barry was professional and at the same time extremely comforting. He knew what he was looking at and was able to ease my concerns about things which turned out to be minor issues. He talked us through the entire inspection as we went as well as giving a full inspection report with pictures included by the end of the same day. Barry was a pleasure to work with. He was very thorough and meticulous on site. He took the time to explain things to us, what was important and what could be taken care of down the road. He was even kind enough to recommend other tradesmen to us as we are new to St Thomas. He provided us with a 34 page report on the house within 24 hrs. It was terrific! He was extremely quick to respond to email or txt. I would highly recommend working with DHI to anyone in the area. Barry will be my first choice the next time I need a home inspection.
